If you are keeping up to date with the plot of this comic then you will understand the fear in the teenager’s heart. After being thrown into the forest as part of a school game, there has been all manner of shenanigans and deception. This cover sums up that plot amazingly and I love the detailing of the ground and trees with the moon shining through. The purple adds a sinister mist to the scene but the shading really makes the artwork shine on Hunter’s body and the branches. The forest is beautiful but the child runs in fear from something hiding in the dark behind him. Simple and stunning.
